LEIKA SU KUTZKE

I am a designer and trained carpenter, working between playful objects, furniture, pneumatic systems and material experimentation. My practice combines hands-on making with industrial materials, visible mechanics, and an interest in how objects can spark curiosity, interaction, and physical engagement.

Working across wood, metal, textiles, inflatables and photography, I approach design through building, testing, sewing, documenting, and rethinking everyday functions in unexpected ways. Many of my projects explore the relationship between play and utility, often transforming technical or industrial systems into interactive objects.

I am currently studying Design and Art at the Free University of Bolzano.

My work has been exhibited at about archivio and selected for DEORON during 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen. In 2026, my project VelAir received the Talente München Award.
